David E. Cohen
C.P.A. & Managing Partner
David is the managing partner of Cohen & Havian LLP, Certified Public Accountants in Norwell, MA where he practices in estate planning and probate administration. He also provides accounting and tax services to many privately owned businesses, as well as individual taxpayers. In addition to his accounting and tax services, David also represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. He has served as an independent executor/trustee for many clients to coordinate their probate tax proceedings.
For ten years, David hosted his own radio program known as "Business Sense Power Hour" heard on the Money Matters Radio Network. The program covered a wide variety of business issues facing individuals and business owners alike.
David holds a B.S. degree from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce and an M.S. degree in accounting from Bentley College. He is a member of the American Institute of C.P.A.'s and the Massachusetts Society of C.P.A.'s. In 1998 David was elected to Who's Who in Finance and Industry. In 1997 he was also selected for inclusion in Who's Who in Executives and Professionals.

Maureen joined C & H in September of 2010 and quickly became a valued assistant to the entire staff in servicing our clients. Previously she worked as a Municipal Finance Paralegal in Hartford, Connecticut. In addition, Maureen has worked at a Springfield, Massachusetts law firm as a systems administrator and Probate Paralegal. Prior to her paralegal work, Maureen was employed by The Hartford Life Insurance Company in Employee Benefits.
Maureen received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Religious Studies from The College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, Massachusetts in 1981. In 1994 she received her Certificate in Advanced Paralegal Studies from Elms College in Chicopee, Massachusetts.
Mary is the Head of Office Administration for C & H. Mary worked for Cohen, Cohen, Havian & Shaller (our predecessor firm) from 1974 through 1976. She left to start a family and rejoined Cohen & Havian in 1989, where she handles all of the firm's administrative matters.
Mary graduated from Aquinas Secretarial School in Milton in 1974.
